Victor's Episode

__29.03.2003 @ 20:25_______

Once upon a time in there lived a young fox by the name of Victor. Despite being a fully grown fox Victor lived at home with his mum and dad as he suffered from the debilitating illness Chronic Flatulence Syndrome. Victor was so gassy it meant he could barely leave the house. He was so bloated getting out of the door was an effort. This meant most of Victor's time was spent at home watching movies and bugging people on the internet. Victor knew it wasn't much of a life but he took his pleasures where he could get them. ie : masturbation.

Victor always did make the effort at least once a week to do his weekly shopping. Usually on a Thursday he would get up and go out despite how bad he was feeling.

This particular Thursday Victor was on the bus to the shops. Suddenly he felt incredibly ill. His vision went dark to the point of barely being able to see. He was shivering despite it being the height of summer. A feeling that he was about to vomit was welling up inside him. In short he did not feel well at all. Victor did not know what to do. His overwhelming urge was to get off the bus so he could throw up but then he would be stuck in the middle of nowhere with no way of going home. The bus ride still had at least twenty minutes to go. Could he last that long without splashing his guts all over the floor?

As Victor did not know what to do he did the only thing he could think of. Nothing at all. He just sat in his seat trying not to think about it. He stayed like this for a good fifteen minutes. Most of which were spent with his hand over his mouth. Just in case.

Finally the bus began to approach the bus station at the other end of the journey. However Victor was faced with a new problem. He wasn't sure if he had the strength to stand up, let alone get off the bus. He was left with no option but to ask the lady peacock sat opposite him for assistance. Despite the acute embarressment he felt Victor managed to summon up the courage to ask.

"um... excuse me. i dont feel at all well. could you please help me to the toilets?" he said with bright red cheeks as he leaned over towards her as much as what little strength he had would allow.

The peacock looked at him and didnt say anything for a second. She seemed to be looking him up and down to check he was genuine. Understanble when you take the area's fox thug problem. Finally she said.

"Whats the problem?"

Victor explained how weak he felt and if she could just help him make it to the toilets in the bus station that would be a great help.

The peacock looked at him with a gentle smile and sad that yes, she would help him. Victor thanked her profusely and slumped back into his seat and tried not to sweat too much.

When the bus finally arrived at the bus station Victor looked over at the peacock with a weak smile on his face. She gently took him by the arm and helped him to his feet. Slowly they shuffled down the aisle of the bus and out of the door.

Outside Victor and the peacock gently moved towards the bus station's main building. Victor found himself repeatedly thanking the peacock. He just could not stop himself. He never thought a stranger could do something so kind for him.

Eventually they reached the public toilets and Victor thanked the peacock one final time and she released his arm and went on her way. Victor bolted into the toilets as fast as he could and went and sat on the loo. He was there a good half hour. Just sitting. Nothing wanted to be expelled from his body so he just sat there and waited for the shaking and dizzyness to pass.

Eventually it receded enough for him to manage to phone his sister Lucy who lived not too far away. Luckily she was home and said he could come to her house. Victor stumbled out of the toilets and managed to walk the short distance to the taxi rank where he got in a cab and made it to his sisters house. He spent the rest of the day laid out on her sofa watching cable tv and eating dried bread as thats all Lucy would allow him.

He never did forget the kindness of the peacock though. He still thinks of her from time to time and wishes he could buy her a drink to say thankyou.

The End.
